I have not finished this book but I am REALLY enjoying it. I am a mom and my son is 18 months old. I have struggled with postpartum depression and anxiety since having him. It has caused some issues in my relationship with my fiancé and I have been really working on doing better in life. It got to a point where I wasn’t getting dressed for several days in a row, and obviously not taking care of myself. Everyday is still a challenge but for the past couple months I have been working on taking better care of myself and trying to make myself look more presentable. This book was kind of my next stepping stone to being better. I’m reading it and these lessons are great for someone like me coming out of a very cloudy place and trying to do more. I have been on a kick on whatever I’m doing in life right now needs to be done better and do it with poise, grace and style. This book is helping! I have been getting up and showering and getting dressed for my day long before I need to run out the door and that alone causes a huge shift on my mental wellness. I will update this review as I continue the book but it has really helped me. Sorry if my review is babbling but postpartum ladies if you need some inspiration I HIGHLY recommend it!
